How to find a game today

Bali's ping pong scene runs on WhatsApp, not on websites. Spots change, tables get moved, and some venues only really 'count' when someone regular is in - so the group is where that knowledge lives.

Join it, drop the area you are staying in, and say what level you are playing at. That is the whole process. People post when they are heading to a table and when they need a fourth.

Ping pong in Bali - common questions

Where can I play ping pong in Bali?
We have confirmed 10 places to play ping pong in Bali. They cluster around four areas: Canggu and Batu Bolong in the north, Seminyak and Kerobokan just south of it, Legian and Kuta along the beach strip, and Ubud inland. Two more sit further out - Pecatu on the Uluwatu peninsula and Denpasar Barat. Every spot on this page has a full street address and a link that opens its Google Maps listing.
Is there a ping pong club in Bali, or just places to play?
Mostly places to play rather than a formal club. The spots listed here are bars, hostels, cafes and sports venues that have tables and are happy for you to use them. Most are walk-up and casual - no membership, no booking. The one exception is the sports side of the list, where dedicated tennis and padel venues in Kerobokan and Denpasar also run table tennis. If you want organised leagues or coaching, ask in the WhatsApp group and someone will point you at whoever is organising that week.
How do I find a game of ping pong in Bali right now?
Join the WhatsApp group linked on this page. That is where players post when they are heading to a table, looking for a fourth, or running a casual session. It is the fastest way to go from "I want to play" to "I am playing" - far faster than messaging venues one by one and hoping someone answers.
Which areas of Bali have the most places to play ping pong?
Canggu and Seminyak have the highest concentration, which tracks with where most long-stay players and expats live. Legian has a handful of beachfront bars. Ubud has two confirmed spots. If you are staying in Denpasar or Nusa Dua, the Denpasar Barat spot is the closest confirmed option, and the WhatsApp group is the best way to find something closer to you.
Do I need to book ahead or pay a membership?
No. These are casual public venues - buy a drink or a food item and ask for the table. There is no GTA Pong membership for Bali drop-ins and no cover charge. The WhatsApp group is free to join.

This page is the Bali companion to GTA Pong, the Greater Toronto Area Ping Pong Club. Spots are confirmed by the community and the list changes as venues open and close - if a spot has moved or you know one we have missed, say so in the WhatsApp group.
