GTA Pong and Mimos Coliving Team Up for Fourth Annual Summer Smash
Toronto, Ontario – [Tuesday August 20, 2024] – GTA Pong and Mimos Coliving are
excited to announce their partnership for the fourth annual Summer Smash. This year’s
event will be held on Saturday August 24, 2024 at 2pm at the Mimos Coliving residential
home located near Dupont and Spadina Road.
GTA Pong, a community-driven table tennis group, has grown exponentially since its
inception, thanks in part to the unwavering support of Mimos Coliving. As a shared
space fostering connection and community, Mimos Coliving has been an integral part of
GTA Pong’s journey, providing a venue for the group to grow and thrive.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Mimos Coliving once again for our Summer
Smash,” said George Foty and Hai Hoang of GTA Pong. “Their commitment to building
community aligns perfectly with our own mission. Mimos Coliving has been more than
just a venue; they’ve been a true incubator for our growth.”
Mimos Coliving, celebrating its fourth anniversary this month, is dedicated to creating a
sense of belonging for its house members and the broader community. By hosting
events like the Summer Smash, Mimos Coliving aspires to provide a communal hub or
“third place” where people can gather, build relationships, and enjoy leisure time outside
of home and work.

The Summer Smash will feature friendly table tennis matches, one-on-one coaching for
